Spiritual Healing: Influx of Love

"We live in the midst of invisible forces whose effects alone we perceive. We move among invisible forms whose actions we very often do not perceive at all, though we may be profoundly affected by them." - Dion Fortune, Psychic Self-Defense
An influx of love is everything we are not, the opposite sensation our personality can feel, before midlife. In influx is one aspect of a dual force. To become aware of it, puts our personality’s survival at risk, because it represents the beginning of the process of its transmutation. As personality is weakened, our awareness of the influx strengthens. The process of transmutation can be immediate, or long and difficult until our personality is fully aligned with its movement. An influx only reveals itself when personality is fully formed. A solid object, holds the vibration better when struck. Our ego personality must be fully formed, being full of itself, before it can be destroyed. An influx of love from within cause the transformation from ego, to our fully conscious Self.
The process is a surrendering or sacrifice. The ego experiences an influx that causes it to believe it lives an unfulfilled life. The search for meaning, brings the little ego to its knees. In a state of not knowing, a turning inward and letting go takes place. At the point of deepest despair, the dark night of the soul, a realization of something more powerful than our own fullness strikes. It has many sensations with a vast collection of imagery connected to it, from the unconscious. When it strikes, you know it, no longer the same person. The process has begun.
Although a process has begun, it feels like an ending. The sensation the ego has identified with, is what is transformed. The process can go on for years, until our ego desires to re-experience it. The sensation the ego had identified with, has been replaced by a new sense-of-self. This new identification is also a new feeling, not yet intellectually understood. It is an energy of the heart. The dying process personality experiences, is eventually understood when our new sense-of-self is fully conscious. Each influx, although a revitalization of the cellular nature, is felt like destruction. The process is an ‘awful’ feeling, until we are fully It.
