Aquarius: Key To Happiness

The Corporeal Sensation of Nature.

The sensation we feel as our sense-of-self, is actually the Intelligence that is found in Mother Nature. It is found in all living things as the corporeal sensation. When we look for it and find it as a spiritual substance we are enlivened by revelation at the wonder of life. All nature is made of this same substance, but the key is to bring it into full awareness by lifting-up our personality by an act of revelation.

Uranus/Saturn: our Ruling Planets

Uranus and Saturn, taken together as the co-rulers of the air sign Aquarius, magnifies our propensities through limitation. Its dual influence first causes contraction such as meditation, and then expansion, such as revelation. One aspect of the self is radical, the other stabilizing and undoing, excesses of all kinds. Restrictions can be expressed as explosions, rejection by rebellion, and frustration seeks ecstasy, by turning on the drama.

Spiritually, the influence of these rulers, imbues us with a sense of expanded consciousness as we learn from the lessons that force a broader concept of who we are. We develop our concentration to rule over our past, present and future thoughts, uniting us by the sensation of revelation to the eternal now.

Saturn’s true potential is a level of cosmic consciousness, a state reached when the bondage to appearances has upset us enough to let the perfection of the divine order shine through. This aspect is from the enlightened, brotherly vision of Uranus, the overlooking super-consciousness acting through cultural power.

Mercury: our Motivation

Like all planets, Mercury has a dual quality too. The first quality of Mercury is to create mind chatter, and the sense of separateness which separates us from the experience and causes all interpretations to be flawed, because interpretation is based on comparing using memory. Mind chatter ultimate result is conflict and disagreement — because all mind chatter is just a belief or a personal opinion (for everything must be judged for personality to believe it has personal power).

The second quality is the hope that the endless search for information to base your judgments on, will develop your mental gifts. Intellect will eventually be forced to expand those concepts into a broader knowledge in order to be shared. Here the intellect can evolve from narrow notions to the true grasp of universal reality.

Venus: our Good Fortune

Venus, as ruler of the next air sign Libra, also has a dual quality in influencing your ultimate outcome as a human. The first quality, influences you to express your intellect (air) in a social, but somewhat surface expression, to keep alive the little ego. Intellect is motivated by Venus, by what turns you on. The more intellectually interested you are the keener your attention span becomes and then, a broader knowledge can unfold by the luminous sensation of Venus.

The true potential of Venus, is at the level of pure creative living. Desire is transformed from merely judging by appearances, to the desire to be inspired, to bring love and attention down into the moment, stabilizing our desires in perfect equilibrium — in balance with the inner self.

Exalted Planets:

There are no planets exalted in Aquarius. Both Uranus exalted in Scorpio, transformation through motion, and Saturn exalted in Libra, eliminate everything from your mind that you do not what to manifest, is power enough.
